I'm sorry if my comments offended you - I do tend to get a bit carried
away at times. The reason I do, however, is that I'm fairly passionate
about Traveller - played since 1979 ("Late Carter Administration"), own
just about everything published for the game, play it as much as I can.
As I pointed out in my response to Steve yesterday, I like the New Era
background. Unlike others on this list, I'm not going to whine about
Virus - even if I didn't like the idea (and I do), there is no way GDW is
going to change that part of the universe. What I seek to do with my
comments is to perhaps guide the flavor and contents of future products.
Let me be clear - when a product I like is released (like Path of Tears
or Smash and Grab), I will be the very first to post a favorable review here.

As for voting with my pocketbook, well, I'm such a Traveller junky that
I'll buy anything with the words Traveller on it. My purpose in doing
these reviews is to help those who aren't as addicted as I am to make
choices.

Again, sorry you and others took offense at the heat of my remarks, but I
stand by my reviews.

Mark "Will work for corndogs" Clark

P.S. How do you know that the Hivers didn't put me up to that review so
as to generate some sympathy for Dave and GDW? Then again, maybe I'm an
Ithklur trying to keep a little privacy - the fewer who read about us the
better, you know. Getting confused yet? Well, that's how I felt after
reading "Sneaks and Geeks".

I'm thinking of starting up a smallish PBEM game, a fairly high-level effort
using Brilliant Lances and Battle Rider (or, if this proves unfeasable, I'll
use High Guard-Trillion Credit Squadron rules). If anyone has any advice,
aids, useful software, or anything else that may be of use / interest, I'd
be extremely grateful.

Once I'm satisfied that I can pull it off, I'll call for players...probably
only 3 or 4 at this stage.
